Topic: PETS

We could have done many things more than talking about our pets, and about how pets mean to us... We could have learned some idioms that contain animals' names, and listened to a song then filled in its lyric.

But the situation is the electricity went out (I'm totally not sure about this phrase

). So we just had free talks, among 6 people, and then played a funny game

And I lost the 1st chance to be a MC in an KEC's meeting

KEC

Meeting report: The last meeting began at 9:30 on Wednesday, 14, November, 2007 at the gym (house E). Our topic was:

“ MUSIC AND IDOLS ”

The room has already become very HOT since the first part of the meeting - Discussion started. We talked many things about our idols like Avril Lavigne, Mrs .Ton Nu Thi Ninh - the famous Vietnamese diplomatist, Super Junior band,… Most of them seem to be the music stars or movie stars. But the air became hotter and hotter since one of our members - Hung Ha gave his very strange opinion. For him, all of the famous singers, actors,… were stupid. Of course, as usual, most of us didn’t agree with him. Then a discussion about the good and bad effect of the music and movie idols to the youth began soon. Ha said : “All of the famous singers or actors aren’t worthy to be respected, we should only care about the national heroes”. But almost of the others thought that the singers and actors weren’t stupid at all because of their useful contribution. The discussion could have never ended if some members hadn’t interupted them. What an interesting discussion !!!!!!.
And the next part was listening exercise. We listened and filled in the blank in the lyric of an interesting song performed by a German band – Tokio Hotel. And the last part was a crossword game about some music idols. We could have a better meeting if there hadn’t been some mistakes. Sorry about our errors !!! ^___^
